If you were to prove that the sum of the three angles of any given triangle is 180, what are the first two steps you would take in doing so?

If you answered "Draw a parallel line and use AIA", good job mate! That is the correct answer. If you guessed "Draw a parallel line and use AEA", I would disagree on that since the angles your using to prove angle sum theorem are the interior angles. And if you guessed "Draw a perpendicular line and use AIA" or even "All of the other choices are correct" (likely nobody), I'm sorry mate, but that line isn't perpendicular to ANYTHING, including the only line it intersects, and even then that's only if it's a right triangle and not parallel to hypotenuse.
