Angles in a Triangle

Geometry Level 1

In triangle A B C \triangle ABC , A B C = 1 2 \angle ABC = 12^\circ and B C A = 3 4 \angle BCA = 34 ^ \circ . What is the measure (in degrees) of C A B \angle CAB ?

The answer is 134.

Let the third angle (angle CAB) be 'x'.

By angle sum property of a triangle, we have,

12 + 34 + x = 180

46 + x = 180

So x = 134. Hence angle CAB will be 134 degrees.

12 + 34 + x = 180

46 + x = 180

So x = 134. Hence angle CAB will be 134 degrees. same.

180 degrees in a triangle. 12+34=46 180-46=134

A soma dos ângulos internos de um triângulo é sempre 180º, portanto, como dois de seus ângulos já estão dados, temos facilmente que o terceiro é : 180 - 12 - 34 = 134º

∠ABC=12∘, ∠BCA=34∘

Sum of angles in a triangle is 180∘ Which implies, ∠ABC+∠BCA+∠CAB=180∘

12∘+34∘+∠CAB=180∘

∠CAB =180∘-12∘-34∘

                    =180∘-46∘

∠CAB = 134∘

12+34=46-180=134

measure of interior angles of a triangle = 180∘

∠ABC + ∠BCA + ∠CAB = 180

12 + 34 + ∠CAB = 180

∠CAB = 180 - 46

∠CAB = 134∘

se a soma dos ângulos dos lados é 180, 12+34=46 ... 180-46= 134

We know that,

The sum of all three angles of a triangle is 180∘

Hence, in triangle A B C △ABC ,

A B C + B C A + C A B = 180 12 + 34 + C A B = 180 ∠ABC+∠BCA+∠CAB = 180∘ \Longrightarrow 12∘+34∘+∠CAB=180∘

C A B = 180 12 34 = 134 \Longrightarrow ∠CAB=180∘-12∘-34∘=134∘

Hence, the answer is 134 \fbox {134}
