2016 = 2 5 . 3 2 . 7 2016=2^5.3^2.7 , However despite having unlimited no. of containers since we are to distribute it equally the most we can have at a time is 2016 2016 , and the number 2016 2016 is equally divided by it's divisors only. So no. of divisors ( 5 + 1 ) ( 2 + 1 ) ( 1 + 1 ) = 36 (5+1)(2+1)(1+1)=36 is the answer to this problem.
