ist row will have 4 tennis balls,,next tier 3,next 2, then top one. other sise of pyramid will not have top ball,next lower one,net 2 and last three. last 3rd side of pyramid will not have top and next lower balls and next layer 1 and 2 only.thus pyramid of 4 tier will be completed by 20 tennis balls.
