Suppose Kamran has eaten x \color{#3D99F6}{x} a p p l e s \color{#D61F06}{apples}
Then Acc. to question,
x + 40 % \Rightarrow \color{#3D99F6}{x} + 40\% of x = 70 \color{#3D99F6}{x} = 70
1.4 x = 70 \Rightarrow 1.4\color{#3D99F6}{x} = 70

Hence, x = 50 \boxed{ \color{#3D99F6}{x} = \color{#D61F06}{50} }

nice !!!!!
