Anyone for Daiquiri
Daiquiri is a cocktail of rum, lime-juice, etc. Once on a romp, all the letters of DAIQUIRI flit, except the three I's that retain their relative positions. How many 8-letter words with or without meaning are made possible? Note: Relative position means that there are two letters in between the first two and one letter in between the next two I's.
The answer is 360.

As three I's retain their places the three possibilities are xxIxxIxI, xIxxIxIx and IxxIxIxx giving 5! words each. Hence 3*(5!) = 360 is the answer.
