Let S be the quantity of salt water in a small bottle and L the quantity of salt water in a large bottle.

Then:

4 S = 2 3 L 4S = \frac {2}{3}L

6 S = L 6S = L

6 4 S = 1 4 L \frac {6}{4}S = \frac {1}{4}L

3 2 S = 1 4 L \boxed {\frac {3}{2}}S = \frac {1}{4}L
