Let t n be the nth term of the series and t (n-1) is the (n-1)th term of the series.

Then t n = 3 X t (n-1) - 2 ^ (n-2). Here, 6th term is given as 275. Therefore, the seventh term is = 3 X 275 - 2^ (7-2)= 825 - 32 = 793.

good idea...

Let {a n} be a sequence of real numbers with a 1=2, where n is a natural number. Then a n=2(a (n-1))+3^(n-2) for n>1.
