17 ! × 18 ! 2 = 17 ! × 17 ! × 18 2 ( W r i t i n g 18 ! = 18 × 17 ! ) \large \dfrac{17!\times 18!}{2}=\dfrac{17!\times 17!\times 18}{2}\\ ~~~~~~~~~~~\small{\color{#D61F06}{(Writing~18!=18\times 17!)}} = 17 ! × 17 ! × 9 \large =17!\times 17! \times 9 = ( 17 ! × 3 ) 2 \large =(17!\times 3)^2 Hence 17 ! × 18 ! 2 is a perfect square \Large \text{Hence } \color{#69047E}{\boxed{\color{#20A900}{\dfrac{17! \times 18!}{2}}}} \text{ is a perfect square}

  1. 17!x18!/2 = (17!)^2x18/2 = (17!x3)^2... It's answer.
  2. 15!x16!/2 = (15!)^2x16/2 = (15!)^2x8...
  3. 16!x17!/2 = (1x3x...x16)^2x17x4/2 = (1x3x...x16)^2x34...
  4. 14!x15!/2 = (1x3x...x14)^2x15x4/2 = (1x3x...x14)^2x30... aren't perfect square.
