The area of one regular hexagon of side s is 6√3. So 6√3 = 1.5√3s^2. s=2. The rectangle has length of (2)(2√3) + 3, and width of 2(1+2) +(3) = 9 . The area of rectangle = 9(4√3 + 3) = 36√3+27. So a+b = 36 + 27 = 63.
