By pythagoran theorem, the longer side is 1 4 2 8. 4 2 = 11.2 \sqrt{14^2-8.4^2}=11.2 . So the area of the rectangle is 8.4 × 11.2 = 94.08 8.4 \times 11.2 = \boxed{94.08} .

x = 1 4 2 8. 4 2 = 11.2 x=\sqrt{14^2-8.4^2}=11.2

A = 11.2 ( 8.4 ) = A=11.2(8.4)= 94.08 \boxed{94.08}
