Area of shaded region = Areas of 4 circles - Areas of 4 sectors = (154 x 4) - (154/4 x 4) = 462 unit2

It's so simple just find the area of 4 circles and subtract the area of 4 quadrant circle & u will get the answer.

Yeah! A very simple problem. The only trap possible is someone incorrectly subtracting the area of the square from the sum of the areas of the 4 circles. But even the chances of that are low.

Ya the rectangle shape between the circle tends to think that it must have any use in the solution but sometimes it gives a wrong answer.
