You check the tire pressure and it is at 17 PSI. How much air did the tire lose (on average) every day over the 5-day period, in PSI to the nearest integer?

x = ( 35 17 ) 5 x=\frac{(35-17)}{5} x = 18 5 x=\frac{18}{5} x = 3.6 x=3.6

Therefore the tire is losing about 4 pounds of air everyday.
