age of captain= 26

age of wicketkeeper=29

let average of whole team be x and let average of 9 players be y.

y=x-1

sum of ages of whole team=11x

sum of ages of 9 players= 9y= 9(x-1)

so, 11x - (26+29) = 9(x-1) that gives us x = 23

Yoooo,

as for this,

let x = total ages for 9 remaining players,

26 + 29 + x / 11 = y

55 + x = 11y(2nd)

as for excluding both captain and wicket,

x / 9 = y - 1

x = 9(y-1)

x = 9y - 9(1st)

substitute (1st) into (2nd),

55 + 9y - 9 = 11y

46 = 2y

y = 23(this is the average age of a team)...as x = 23(9) - 9 = 198(9 players)

thanks...

m = 9 ( m 1 ) + 26 + 29 11 = 23 m=\frac{9(m-1)+26+29}{11}=23

let the sum of 9 players be x.now average = x/9 now average of 11 players= (x+55)/11 (x+55)/11-1=x/9 (x+55-11)/11=x/9 (x+44)/11=x/9 11x=9(x+44) 11x=9x+396 11x-9x=396 2x=396 x=396/2=198. putting the value of x -- 198/9=22years and average of whole team =(198+55)/11 or, 253/11=23 therefore average of whole team is 23 years.
