While IDK could technically be the right answer (if you don't know what contains hereditary information), I couldn't answer that because I know. The cell nuclei is where the hereditary information is stored, while DNA molecules are the physical structure to store this information. Chromosomes are just what the DNA strands are called during some steps when the cell is dividing (it is DNA condensed to its maximum density -- the proteins responsible for that are known as histones).
