When two prime numbers are multiplied together, the result is NO LONGER prime as the product would already have factors other than 1 and itself - that is the 2 numbers involved in the multiplication. Now we can be sure that 1 CANNOT be either of the 2 numbers involved as 1 is NOT a prime number. Therefore it suffices to say that the product will have factors other than 1 and itself. In other words, it is c o m p o s i t e \boxed{composite} .

Now it is INCONCLUSIVE as to whether the number is odd or even as NOT all primes are odd so the product need not necessarily be odd. Remember there is ONE even prime, that is 2. So the product can be even or odd, we cannot say for sure.
