If f ( x ) = 2 x f(x) = 2x and g ( x ) = 3 x − 10 g(x) = 3x -10 , find the value of x x which satisfies f g ( x ) = x fg(x) = x .

f g ( x ) = x fg(x) = x

f ( 3 x − 10 ) = x f(3x-10) = x

2 ( 3 x − 10 ) = x 2(3x-10) = x

6 x − 20 = x 6x -20 = x

5 x = 20 5x=20

x = 4 x = \boxed{4}
