A large hollow rectangular box has a perfectly​ circular hole cut in the top. The hole radius is 1 meter. A spherical ball is placed over the hole such that 25% of its volume resides within the box. Determine the radius of the ball (in meters).


The answer is 1.066.

Same, except my integral bounds were 0 to √(R^2-1).

I just read about a baker who asked for help to measure half a hemisphere teaspoon of vanilla extract. I don't know if that's considered cheating or not.
