$ABCD$ is a quadrilateral where $\angle B=\angle D=90^\circ$ . $E$ and $F$ are two points on $BD$ such that $AE$ is perpendicular to $BD$ and $CF\parallel AE$ . If $DE = 8$ units, then find $BF$ .
