Basic Algebra Makes Magic Tricks

Logic Level 1

Do you believe I can read your mind?

1- Think about any number except zero and remember it.
2- Square this number.
3- Add the result to the original number.
4- Divide the result by the original number.
5- Add the result to 1043.
6- Subtract the original number from the result.
7- Divide the result by 11.
8- The number you got is the answer.

Give your answer to 3 decimal places.

I think , if we add 1043 to (x+1) then it becomes x+1044. If you are right then post your solution.

I think it's dumb that the answer is specifically rounded to three decimal places. Why not 1 or 2? Or at least say how many in the question as I got the right answer but it said it was wrong because I didn't round it to three places.

You think that we are foolish. Buddy you should know that the tricks you are playing with us today,we used to play them when we were 6-7years old. Well, the tricks played by you in between dont matter. THE FIRST AND THE LAST STEP METTERS. WHEN YOU HAVE ASKED TO SUBTRACT THE NUMBER THOUGHT THEN THE VALUE OF OPPERATIONS IS KNOWN TO YOU. I think this is the silliest question ever asked by anyone

I think this problem is suitable for you as you are a level one person,, the purpose of the question to teach people that all the math tricks are made by basic algebra as I wrote on the title of the problem and I put it level one for that purpose,, so I think it is an impolitely behavior to say that my question is the silliest question,, I think you wrote that comment to appear as a brilliant person,, actually it is not a question it is a way of teaching ,, finally I think this is the silliest comment I have ever read.

I used 1. Though It's rather dumb that you decided to not end it on an integer. Seriously, why bother adding complexity that doesn't need to be there?

I agree with AK and I think that if it is suitable for level one people than level one people should try it and if you didn't like it you can just say "Hmm that problem wasn't my favorite." And move on! People work really hard on these questions and I think hat it is incredibly rude to say that it is the silliest question ever.
