Simply rearrange into the form y=mx+c and read m off from there. 3y=-4x+15 y=-4/3x+5 Therefore, the gradient is -4/3.

Its very simple. Just differentiate both sides of the equation with respect to ' x ' we get

4 + 3y' = 0

y' = -4 / 3 = slope of the equation = gradient of PQ

Hence the answer is -4 / 3 .
