In a parallelogram ABCD, AB =20 cm and AD=12 cm. the bisector of angle A meets DC at E and BC produced at F. Find the length of CF.

The parallelogram can have any angles. let's say it is a square. then AD=DE. 20-12 =8

Thanks Bro , This is also another method of solving this. But this method never came in my mind. Actually my way of solving is little harder. Let angle A=2x. So, angle DAE=x. and angle D=180-2x and angle DEA=x. Now,angle FEC=x. And angle EFC=x. So Angle FCE=180-2x That means CE=CF and AD=DE So,20-12=8 CE=8=CF
