Let x be the cost of bat and y be the cost of ball.
Now, According to question→
x + y = 1 1 ..... ( 1 )
Now, " Cost of bat is $ 10 more than that of the ball" →
x = y − 1 0 or y = 1 0 + x
Now, Substituting y = 1 0 + x →
