A bell rings every 5 seconds. A second bell rings every 6 seconds. A third bell rings every 8 seconds. If all the three ring at the same time at 8:00am , at what time will they all ring together next?

lcm of the given data = 120sec. or 2 minutes.

Since L.C.M. of 5,6,8 is 120.Therefore the time at which all bells ring together is 120/60=2min

we want to find next time at which all bells ring together .therefore we want to find least time so take LCM for 5,6 and 8 we will get 120 as answer i.e., 2minutes

The L.C.M of 5, 6, 8 = 120 seconds = 2 minutes is the answer
