A square plate is shown in the figure of mass M and edge l.The moment of inertia of the plate about the axis in the plane of plate passing through one of its vertex making an angle 15 degrees from horizontal is given as a M L 2 b \frac{aML^{2}}{b} , Then find gcd(a,b) + lcm(a,b).

Moment of Inertia through centre = ML^2/6 By Perpendicular axis theorem cut it along 2 perpendicular line then through each line MI =ML^2/12 Now apply parallel axis theorem So MI = ML^2/12 + M(√3 L/2√2)^2 =11ML^2/24
