3 x + 19 = 100 3 x = 81 x = 4 \begin{aligned} 3^{x} + 19 &= 100 \\ 3^{x} &= 81 \\ x &= \boxed{4} \end{aligned}

By power rule ,the base are equal then the power are also equal such as x=4

100-19= 81, so we get 3^x=81, at this point it's obvious that x is 4.

3^x=81........... giving x=4........... We can go with applying log on both sides
