Glycolysis = Glycose (an old term for Glucose) + -lysis

It is the process of breaking down glucose into pyruvate and hydrogen ions.

• Nuclei stores genetic information

• Chloroplasts make glucose and other types of sugars

• The mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell , that is they make energy for the cell

By negating all other possible choices, the only choice left is Choice 1 , Cytoplasm
