5 × 9 − 6 = 39 5 \times 9 - 6 = 39 .

Applying the BODMAS rule,

we have , 5 ∗ 9 = 45 5*9 = 45 

        So, 45-6 = 39

9 multiplying with 5 makes 45 . Then substructure 6 from 45 ; 45-6=39. That's how I found her age " 39" years old . Next year she wouldn't like see 40 candles on her birthday cake !
