1+4-12=5-12=-7 which is the smallest

An easy way is to first eliminate the first and last because they have 4 multiplied to them. Secondly, the second and third have the term that is a product, with a minus sign to it. This means that either have to be the smallest. Now just see which one is the smallest from the first half of the options

1+2^2- 3X4 = 1+4 - 12 = -7

No Brother... You say Rest of 3 are positive which is not true because First = 3 Second=8 Third= -7 Fourth= -3
