Answer is 6 8 C 68^\circ C or 154.4 F 154.4\circ F .

The boiling point of water depends on the pressure. On top of Mount Everest, the pressure is about 260 mbar ( 26.39 kPa 26.39 \text{ kPa} ) and the boiling point of water is 6 9 C 69^\circ C . 155. 2 F 155.2^\circ F . In contrast, water can still remain liquid near deep hydrothermal vents, even if the temperature is very high.

Cool question but I think it would be more of a math question if the pressure at Mt everest were given so we can solve it rather than look it up. I didn't know thr 26.39 kPa so I was just making an educated guess knowing that the the pressure would be lower with altitude
