Infinitely many times, because you can go on subtracting it even in negative numbers, it has no limit.

By the way it was a nice question Paul Ryan Longhas !

I've been confused of that!

Infinity times because you subtract them even if it is negative

they r talking about subtracting 9 from 54 we can subtract it infinity many times like that 54-9=45 54-9=45 54-9=45 54-9=45 :D

Infinitely many times because it has no restriction.

for me the answer should be once, because when you subtract 9 from 54 the answer is 45, it is no longer 54. haha
