Ursula is the only girl without an $e$ in her name, so Wendy took her book. Zoe got the book belonging to the person that took Xena's book, so she didn't take Xena's book herself. Ursula took a book that belonged to a person that doesn't have an $a$ in their name, so she didn't take Yaretzi or Zena's book. Violet took a book that belonged to a person with an $o$ in their name, which must be Zoe. Now, only Yaretzi can have taken Xena's book. Zoe got the book belonging to the person that took Xena's book, which must be Yaretzi. Wendy book wasn't taken by Ursula, so Ursula took Violet's book. And that leaves Xena to take Wendy's book (the answer).
