s t e p 1 \large{step1} : 100 / 50 = 2 \large {100}/{50}=2

s t e p 2 \large{step2} : 50 8 = 42 \large 50-8=42

s t e p 3 \large{step3} : 42 × 2 = 84 \large 42×2=84

Hence The answer is 84 \boxed {84}

Note that the = = sign is used to indicate equality in math.

But what you had wrote is:

  • 1 = 2

  • 2 = 42

  • 3 = 84

Please correct it.

No you didn't understand that I had Used the equality notation ( = ) \large{(=}) To showed that which step has contiend which information about solution. But then I used this notaion ( : ) \large{(:)} .

50-8=42

42 50 = 84 100 = 84 % \displaystyle \frac { 42 } { 50 } = \frac { 84 } { 100 } = \boxed { 84\% } .

50 8 50 × 100 = 42 50 × 100 = 84 % \frac{50 - 8}{50} \times 100 = \frac{42}{50} \times 100 = \boxed{84 \%}
