Let 10=m and 21=n then for the HP the mth term is n and the nth term is m implying for the AP formed: a+(m-1)d= n 1 ;a +(n-1)d= m 1 Subtracting the two equations you get d= m n 1 Putting value of d in any one of the above equations you get a=d = m n 1 Now solving for mn which is 210 you get m n 1 +(mn-1) m n 1 =1=
