Volume of the cube = s^3, and volume of the interior sphere = (4 pi/3) (s/2)^3 = (pi/6) s^3. Thus, V_cube : V_sphere = s^3 / (pi/6) s^3 = 6/pi.

to write π \pi , all you have to do is enter Latex by typing slash open parentheses, type \pi, and finish by typing slash close parentheses

Thanks, Marta.......I wrote this solution before I started picking up LATEX hard-core that Nov. I've been piece-mealing my old pre-LATEX solutions with proper representation here -n- there since :)
