He takes 5 steps forward and 3 steps backwards, followed by 5 steps forward and 3 steps backwards and so on.Each step is 1 meter long and takes 1 second.There is a pit on the road 11 meter away from the starting point then drunkard will fall into the pit after how many seconds:---

He takes 8 seconds to reach 2 meter. Then, to reach 6 meter, he takes 24 seconds. The pit 5 meter away. So, he will fall after 24 + 5 = 29 seconds.
