Add the value of n to the second number and multiply the digits. 2+3=8. 2×(3+1)=8. Likewise, 7+8=98 as 7×(8+6)=98

For a more weird solution...

Let A be the first number Let B be the 2nd number Let C be the final answer

(A x B) + (A(A-1)) = C

or

(A + B)(A - 1) + B = C
