The perpendicularly bisecting line passes this line(having points 7,6 and -3,4)and goes on till it pass the x axis. we have to find the point on which it passes through x-axis. Coordinates of bisecting point are x=(7-3)/2=2 y=(6+4)/2=5 Therefore (x,y)=(2,5) Now the bisecting point, the point on x -axis and the point (-3,4) form a right angle triangle. By applying pythagoras theorem answer comes as (3,0)

You can also find the equation using slope point form and then you can put y=0 to get the answer.
