Block A of mass m/2 is connected to one end of light rope which passes over pulley as in fig. Man of mass m climbs the other end of rope with a relative acceleration g/6 w.r.t rope find tension in the rope? let m=18kg & g=10m/s2

Let 'a' be the acceleration of man And 'A' be acceleration of block So

A+a=g/6

Hence making equations we get T-mg/2=mA/2-----1st equation

T-mg=ma--------2nd equation

Solving this you will get T=13mg/18

m=18kg

g=10m/s^2

T=13×10×18/18 =130N
