Logic says that while two daughters have same eyes which implies they are of equal ages.

Let their ages be x & the younger daughter's age be y.

x 2 y = 36 x^2y=36

x 2 y = 6 2 . 1 x^2y=6^2.1 [Since x>y and we need perfect squares as factors of 36]

Ages are 6,6,1 , so 6 + 6 + 1 = 13 \boxed{6+6+1=13}
