Can you disarm the bomb

Logic Level 1

A supervillain places a bomb inside a city. The only way to disarm the bomb is by placing a bottle containing exactly 16 liters of water on the bomb (any more or less will cause detonation!). You are given an empty 11 liter bottle and an empty 19 liter bottle along with an infinite supply of water. Is it possible to fill one of these bottles with 16 liters of water?

No, it's impossible Yes, it's possible

  1. Fill the 19 litre bottle
  2. Pour 11 litres from the 19 litre bottle into the 11 litre bottle leaving 8 litres
  3. Empty the 11 litre bottle
  4. Pour the 8 litres from the 19 litre bottle into the 11 litre bottle
  5. Fill the 19 litre bottle
  6. Pour 3 litres from the 19 litre bottle to fill the 11 litre bottle.
  7. 16 litres are left

@MS HT , you should instead ask " What is the minimum number of moves to perform this task?"
