mass means amount of materials, which will always be the same. it's the weight that changes, cause it depends on the gravitational force
very tricky question !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Exactly...:)
yes! ^ _^ I've read this topic hihi
yes................. ur ans r8!!!!!!
nice problem
In Classical Physics mass is not relative to place or time.
Mass is constant, weight is variable.
Your mass stays the same as it was on Earth, but the force of gravity or weight on your mass changes.
Mass Same But Weight Differ Because Weight depend on gravity ..
mass of body remains same, but vveight different
Mass does not change any where at is weight which canges with gravitational force acting. Therefore, his masds will remain 50 kg on moon as well.
K.K.GARG,India
Mass of a body ( m ) is always constant irrespective of the medium or place where the mass is placed. The weight of a body which is given by W = m g is a varying property as value of acc. due to gravity ( g ) varies with different mediums and positions (heights) . For example, value of g on moon is 6 1 t h of the value of g on Earth. So, any object placed on Moon feels lighter to lift up than that on Earth. But the mass represents the matter which is same in both cases.
So, here the mass ( m ) = 5 0 kg remains same in any medium and any place.
The mass is constant in everywhere in the universe!
The mass is the amount of substance in the object . Therefore it doesn't change with the location . Only the *weight * changes in different locations due to the gravitational forces. Therefore the mass of any object on Earth will have the same mass in any other location too.
