Can You solve this

Geometry Level 2

If a transformation of X = x + 4 X = x + 4 and Y = y 3 Y = y - 3 is applied, what is the new position of the origin in the x y xy -coordinate system?

Correct Answer is : ( 4 , 3 ) (4,-3) Explanation: In x y x-y plane origin is x = 0 x=0 , y = 0 y=0 . Therefore when x y x-y is transformed to X Y X-Y , origin in x y x-y plane will shift to X = 0 + 4 = 4 X = 0 + 4 = 4 , Y = 0 3 = 3 Y = 0 - 3 = -3 . The correct answer is ( 4 , 3 ) (4,-3) .
