The people are Amanda, George, Timothy, Hortense, Oliver, and Riley.

Amanda sits above Timothy, Timothy sits left of Riley, Riley sits 2 seats to the right of Oliver, and Hortense sits above Oliver.

There are 3 seats per row, and 2 per column.

What seat is George in?

Timothy sits right of Riley here. If you meant that "Riley sits left of Timothy" or "Timothy sits right of Riley" then this would be correct. But with the given information, it is not solvable.
