A man is standing at point P , he sees a bus leaving a halt a few meters away from him at a constant accelaration so the man runs after the bus at a velocity of u . He finaly boards the bus at time T , what is the accelaration of the bus ?

suppose the distance between the man and the bus was x. Now the distance travelled by the bus(s) in time T (from second equation of motion) would be. s=(aT^2)/2
now the man has to travelled x+s distance in time T with velocity U so the relation is U= (x+s)/T UT=x+s UT-x=s substituiting the value of s from above
(aT^2)/2 = UT-x aT^2 = 2(UT-x) a = 2(UT-x)/T^2 now since x is not given and none of the answer matches there fore the only option we have is can't tell due to lack of information .
