It is known that 0 0 Centigrade is the same as 32 32 Fahrenheit and 100 100 equals to 212 212 . What is the temperature that gives the same reading in Centigrade and Fahrenheit meter?

F = 32 + 1.8 C

Substitute F = C = X

X = 32 + 1.8X

-.8X = 32

X = -40

You might want to include the conversion formula in the problem.
