If $P(x,y,z)$ is the centroid of the tetrahedron with vertices $A(1,0,0), B(0,0,0), C(1,1,1)$ and $D(0,0,1)$ , then evaluate $x+y+z$ .

Simply take the average of all x values, all y values, and all z values respectively.

x= (1+0+1+0)/4 =0.5 y=(0+0+1+0)/4 =0.25 z=(0+0+1+1)/4 = 0.5

now add em up

actually come to think of it just add all the values and divide by four
