A solution of gases at temperature 273 K 273 \text{ K} with volume 30 L 30 \text{ L} is placed in a balloon at constant pressure. The balloon is then heated to 300 K 300\text{ K} at constant pressure. What is the volume (in liters) of the solution now?

V1/T1 = V2/T2 V2 = 30 X 300 /273 = 3.97

the formula of Charles's Law : V1/T1 = V2 / T2

V2 = (V1/T1)T2

There has been give V1=30L , T1 = 273K , T2 =300K

so, V2 = (30/273)(300)

        = 32.9670 L
