Check out the Blood Moon Tonight!!!

What causes the blood moon to go red during a total lunar eclipse, where the Earth goes between the Sun and the Moon?

Lunar Aliens commit mass blood sacrifice such that the Moon is tinged red. It's the actual colour of the moon. Rayleigh Scattering. Reflection of the Earth's surface gets red-shifted.

As with most eclipses, the moon appeared red during the April 15 eclipse.[2][3] The red color is caused by Rayleigh scattering of sunlight through the Earth's atmosphere, the same effect that causes sunsets to appear red (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blood Moon Prophecy.

"Lunar Aliens commit mass blood sacrifice such that the Moon is tinged red." BIG LOL
