Logic Level 3

What is the fewest number of queens that you need in order to guard a regular 8 × 8 8 \times 8 chessboard?

Clarifications : A queen guards all squares in the same row, column, or diagonal as her. A board is guarded if every space is either occupied by a queen or guarded by a queen.

Why is 5 the minimium?

It is 5 as if you try it on a board it will be able to take out your opponent
